The Three R's of Walking a Labyrinth~1. RELEASING: "Walking into the Labyrinth is a time to focus on quieting your mind and shedding your everyday
thoughts," says Artress. By releasing your expectations of how fast or how slow you should be going, you can find your
natural pace and allow the emptying of the mind to create an opening for the experience. 2. RECEIVING: As
the mind emptys the walker can better hear her deeper thoughts. While you can receive inner wisdom anywhere along the
path, the center provides a natural place to pause. "Stand, sit and stay as long as you need to open your heart and mind
to receive what is there to be received." 3 REFLECTION: "The return is the stage where you start
getting a sense of integration," says Artress. Walking back out, you may even find yourself naturally picking up the
pace as you reflect and review the worries and thoughts you had as you began-- often- times you'll see them from a new perspective.

Wellness Resolution 2012I will consider the container. Here's a shocking fact: The beauty industry is responsible for 1/3 of all the landfill waste.
That's a lot of excess packaging! I will stand up straight and breathe! Stress is literally a burden, which
is why you see so many people slumped forward and weighted down with bad posture. Breath awareness is the threshold where
mind and body connect. Focus, stand straight and breathe to help relieve tension.

Wellness Resolution 2012I will protect my joints by moving my body. Even 15 minutes a day helps strengthen our muscles and bones and makes
us more alert. I will use sunscreen everyday as part of my morning ritual. Take advantage of the newly passed
by the FDA monograph, that tightened labeling requirements for sunscreen. New suncreens with caffeine, applied to the
surface of the skin have proven powerful antioxidents to protect the skin from harmfull sun rays. I will take
my Omegas. Essential fatty acids are healthy fats that the body does not produce on its own. I will exfoliate
without excess! Sloughing off the top layer of dead skin cells allows moisture to penetrate, plump up the skinand reveal
healthy new skin. I will drink more water. Since the human body is made up of 70% water, it makes sense that we need
to continuously replenish and keep our cells hydrated.

Wellness Resolutions for 2012In the spirit of optimism..... It's that time of year, when we make promises to ourselves, of change and opportunity.
Here are our top ten wellness resolutions--- because little things can add up to big changes in the way we look
and feel. 1. I will take care of my neck and hands. While many of us are very faithful to a
skin-care regimen from the jaw up, the neck and hands are often neglected, those areas can be the first to show signs of aging
due to dryness and a good exfoiliation. 2. I will love my licorice extract. This targeted ingredient is one of the hottest
buzzwords in skin care this year. Licorice extract is a natural lightening agent that assists in breaking up pigmentation.
Great treatment for dark spots. 3. I will learn to love tea. A simple plan to live fully charged. I quit drinking coffee
2 weeks before Thanksgiving 2011. I have never felt better and my skin looks amzing.
